Shane Baz Wastes Complete Game Effort in Orioles Loss

Shane Baz delivered a complete game effort for the Baltimore Orioles in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Texas Rangers. Despite being backed by betting analysts as a key figure in the Orioles' Wild Card push, Baz was handed the loss after a controversial late-game call at the plate could not be overturned by replay review. The performance underscored Baz's importance to the team's postseason aspirations despite the frustrating outcome.
