Jack Kayil to Develop Overseas with Alba Berlin for 2026-27 Season

New York Knicks draft pick Jack Kayil will spend the upcoming 2026-27 season playing for Alba Berlin rather than joining the team's active roster. The 20-year-old, who participated in the recent Summer League, is pursuing this path as part of the organization's long-term development strategy. The team is prioritizing international competition to refine his skills before he potentially transitions to the NBA active roster in the future.
