Tarik Skubal Debuts for Dodgers Following High-Profile Trade

Tarik Skubal has been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers, removing him from AL Cy Young contention. His debut set a TNT ratings record, and he is projected to be a marquee free agent this winter with a contract expected to exceed $100 million. While bolstering the Dodgers' rotation, Skubal expressed emotion regarding his departure from Detroit and noted on the “Pardon My Take” podcast that he would love to return to the Tigers in the future. A date for his home debut against the Royals is set.
