Anthony Davis, Wizards Delay Contract Extension Talks
Anthony Davis and the Washington Wizards have officially decided to postpone contract extension negotiations until after the start of the 2026-27 season. Despite becoming eligible for a deal worth up to four years and $275 million, Davis and his agent, Rich Paul, agreed to wait. Both parties intend to evaluate the team's performance with its new roster early in the season before committing to a long-term agreement. No new deal is expected in the immediate future.
