Tyler Ferguson Optioned to Minors in Cubs Roster Shakeup

Tyler Ferguson has been optioned by the Chicago Cubs to make room for the addition of left-handed reliever Braxton Garrett. Ferguson's move to the minor leagues comes as the team looks to reconfigure its bullpen and introduce fresh arms for the upcoming series. While Ferguson has contributed to the relief staff recently, this tactical adjustment allows the Cubs to balance their pitching staff with more left-handed options while keeping Ferguson available for a future call-up if needed.
