Jake Bauers Nearing Return From Abdominal Injury

Jake Bauers missed Thursday's game against the Pirates due to an ongoing abdominal issue. While he remained sidelined, manager Pat Murphy noted that Bauers was available to come off the bench in an emergency capacity. The team is optimistic that he will be cleared to return to the lineup for Friday's matchup against the Twins. He continues to be evaluated on a day-to-day basis as the club monitors his recovery from the lingering discomfort.
