Tarik Skubal Debuts for Dodgers in Loss to Cubs

Tarik Skubal (7-6) made his Dodgers debut, pitching six innings of two-run ball with six strikeouts in a 5-1 loss to the Cubs. While his arrival is intended to bolster the team's pursuit of a threepeat, the Dodgers are currently mired in a six-game losing streak. Reports confirmed the Dodgers beat out a superior offer from the Brewers to acquire the ace. Skubal is also set to meet with Padres pitcher Casey Mize following Mize's recent difficult outing.
