Raiders Coach Eases Pressure on Rookie Fernando Mendoza

Raiders coach Klint Kubiak stated he does not expect rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza to be perfect immediately. While the team drafted Mendoza as their future signal-caller, the signing of veteran Kirk Cousins ensures Mendoza does not need to start as QB1 while he continues his development. Despite the measured approach from the coaching staff, some fans are already speculating about his potential to become a top-10 quarterback quickly.
