Shane Bieber Stays with Blue Jays; Starts Tonight vs. Astros

Despite heavy trade deadline speculation, Shane Bieber remains with the Toronto Blue Jays. The right-hander is scheduled to take the mound tonight in a matchup against the Houston Astros and Cristian Javier. Bieber’s presence in the rotation provides stability for Toronto following the deadline. The start comes amidst a busy day for both clubs, but Bieber remains a focal point for the Blue Jays as they move forward into the final months of the season.
