Cubs Acquire Outfielder Tyrone Taylor

The Chicago Cubs have acquired outfielder Tyrone Taylor from the New York Mets as part of a trade package that also brought pitcher Clay Holmes to Chicago. In exchange, the Cubs sent infielder Jefferson Rojas to the Mets. Taylor, described as a lefty masher, joins the Cubs' roster as the team looks to strengthen its lineup and depth ahead of the trade deadline.
