Cubs Acquire Hard-Throwing Reliever Ryan Zeferjahn from Angels

The Chicago Cubs acquired right-handed pitcher Ryan Zeferjahn from the Los Angeles Angels on Monday. The trade, which also involved the Cubs sending Moisés Ballesteros and Mason McGwire to the Angels, is part of a move to bolster the back of the Cubs' bullpen. Zeferjahn is described as a hard-throwing right-hander, and the deal was finalized during a busy trade deadline period for the Angels.
