Adam Macko Traded to Rangers in Multi-Player Deal

Left-hander Adam Macko was traded to the Texas Rangers on Monday in a deal sending Josh Smith and Josh Stephan to the Toronto Blue Jays. Macko, the first Slovak MLB player since Elmer Valo, posted a 4.91 ERA with 23 strikeouts over 12 appearances for the Blue Jays this season. The move is part of a significant roster restructuring for Toronto as they assess their future beyond the current campaign.
