Dodgers Reacquire Catcher Ben Rortvedt from Mets

For the third time in approximately one year, the Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired catcher Ben Rortvedt, this time from the New York Mets. Rortvedt is currently hitting .235/.319/.414 with eight doubles and six home runs. The move provides the Dodgers with additional depth at the catching position, while pitcher Chayce McDermott heads to New York in the transaction.
