Mariners Acquire AL Walks Leader Taylor Ward

The Seattle Mariners have acquired outfielder Taylor Ward from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for Alex Hoppe, Brock Moore, and Harrison Kreiling. Ward, who leads the American League in walks in 2026, was a top target for the Mariners as they pursue a playoff spot. The veteran outfielder provides a significant right-handed bat to the Seattle lineup as they navigate a tight AL West race, while the Orioles signal a move toward selling at the deadline.
