Phillies Acquire Reliever Brooks Raley from Mets

The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired left-handed reliever Brooks Raley from the New York Mets to bolster their bullpen. The trade, finalized August 3rd, sends two minor league prospects—an outfielder and a pitcher in High-A—to the Mets. The move is part of a series of roster adjustments by the Phillies as they navigate the trade deadline to strengthen their pitching depth for the stretch run.
