Jahmyr Gibbs Remains Sidelined Amid Contract Hold-in

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs remains sidelined at training camp as he seeks a contract extension. Gibbs was present but not in uniform for Monday's practice, stating that "only time will tell" when he will return, though he suggested the situation is "not about" a new contract. Analysts expect increased touchdown upside for Gibbs in 2026 following David Montgomery's departure, provided he resolves his status.
