Red Sox Acquire All-Star Catcher Adley Rutschman in AL East Shocker

The Boston Red Sox have acquired three-time All-Star catcher Adley Rutschman from the Baltimore Orioles in a massive divisional trade. Rutschman, a former No. 1 overall pick, is currently hitting .251 with eight home runs and 47 RBIs while recovering from a wrist injury. He is expected to split time behind the plate with Carlos Narváez. While the Yankees were reportedly in discussions for the star, the Red Sox secured him for a prospect haul that has left some evaluators shocked.
