Zach Franklin Traded to New York Mets in Brazobán Deal

Minor league pitcher Zach Franklin has been traded to the New York Mets as part of a package deal involving the acquisition of reliever Huascar Brazobán by the Chicago White Sox. Franklin, along with Gabe Davis, heads to the Mets organization in exchange for the right-handed reliever. The move is part of a roster adjustment for both clubs ahead of the trade deadline, with analysts noting the acquisition of Brazobán comes at a relatively slim price for the White Sox.
