Matthew Liberatore Tosses Gem in Sunday No-Decision

Matthew Liberatore delivered one of the best games of his career Sunday, tossing six scoreless innings against the Toronto Blue Jays. He allowed only one hit and one walk while striking out seven, outdueling Max Scherzer in the process. Although he did not factor into the decision, his performance was instrumental in helping the Cardinals avoid a series sweep. This outing marks a significant turnaround for the pitcher following his struggles earlier this season.
