Zac Thornton Struggles in Loss to Marlins

Zac Thornton had his least effective outing since joining the starting rotation a month ago, allowing four runs (three earned) over 4.2 innings in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Marlins. Pitching in front of the 1986 Mets, Thornton showed grit but struggled to contain the Marlins' offense in his first taste of adversity with the club.
