Willson Contreras Undergoes Concussion Testing, Expected Back Sunday

Willson Contreras was held out of Saturday's lineup against the Dodgers after being struck in the side of the helmet by a pitch during Friday's game. The 34-year-old All-Star was sent for concussion testing as a precaution. Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy told reporters after Saturday's 3-2 win that Contreras is on track to return for Sunday's series finale as the team monitors his recovery.
