Patrick Mahomes' Target Cyrus Allen Suffers Shin Injury

Chiefs wide receiver Cyrus Allen, who had been earning the trust of quarterback Patrick Mahomes during early training camp sessions, was carted off the field on Saturday following a collision with cornerback Kaiir Elam. While initially feared to have a serious knee injury, Allen was later diagnosed with a shin bruise. Allen had been a standout performer in camp, competing for a role as the team's No. 3 wide receiver.
