Cyrus Allen Diagnosed with Shin Bruise After Collision

Chiefs rookie wide receiver Cyrus Allen was carted off the field during Saturday's practice following a collision with Kaiir Elam. Initially feared to have a significant knee injury, he was diagnosed with a left shin bruise. Allen has been a standout in camp, earning trust from Patrick Mahomes while competing for the No. 4 wide receiver role behind Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Tyquan Thornton. He is not expected to miss the start of the season.
