Dodgers Sign Edwin Díaz Following 2026 Draft Deadline

Following the deadline for major league teams to sign their 2026 MLB Draft picks, the Dodgers have officially signed Edwin Díaz. This move was part of a pared-down draft strategy for the organization, which saw them sign 15 of their 16 selections. The acquisition of Díaz, alongside other signings, resulted in the loss of several draft picks in the second, third, fifth, and sixth rounds for the club.
