Islanders Sign Alex Jefferies to One-Year, Two-Way Contract

The New York Islanders have officially signed forward Alex Jefferies to a one-year, two-way contract. The deal comes as the NHL's arbitration hearing window closes, effectively avoiding a hearing for the player. While Jefferies has yet to record any NHL statistics, this agreement secures his status within the organization for the upcoming season. The signing marks the conclusion of the Islanders' arbitration filings for the current offseason period.
