Mets Trade Reliever A.J. Minter to Minnesota Twins

The New York Mets have traded left-handed reliever A.J. Minter to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for a pair of prospects, including the son of former player Benny Agbayani. The deal, finalized Thursday night, marks the Mets' first move ahead of the MLB trade deadline. Minter, a key bullpen arm, joins the Twins as they look to bolster their relief corps for the remainder of the season.
