Chase Silseth Traded to Texas Rangers in Deadline Deal

Right-handed pitcher Chase Silseth has been traded to the Texas Rangers ahead of the MLB trade deadline. Silseth, who previously played for the Los Angeles Angels, has enjoyed a breakout season as a reliever. The move, finalized on July 30, 2026, provides the Rangers with a valuable arm for their pitching staff as they finalize their roster for the remainder of the season. Silseth, a former Arizona Wildcats standout, is expected to play a key role in Texas' bullpen.
