Byron Buxton Returns to 10-Day IL With Recurring Hip Impingement

Byron Buxton has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to a right hip impingement. This marks a recurring issue for the outfielder, as it is the same injury that previously forced him to miss the All-Star Game. Buxton was sidelined for Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals before the roster move was confirmed. Having already spent 15 days on the IL earlier this month for the same ailment, Buxton remains out of the lineup while managing the injury.
