Jake Bauers Diagnosed With Broken Big Toe

Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Jake Bauers has been diagnosed with a broken big toe on his right foot after fouling a ball off his foot during Monday's game against the Giants. While initial reports suggested the fracture might be an old injury and an IL stint was unlikely, his status remains under evaluation as he was held out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest at Oracle Park. The team continues to monitor his condition.
