Tigers Designate Veteran Catcher Jake Rogers for Assignment

The Detroit Tigers have designated veteran catcher Jake Rogers for assignment. The move comes as the organization looks to adjust its roster, following a 2026 campaign in which Rogers saw a decline in his defensive metrics. This roster move coincides with the team's decision to reinstate Javier Báez from the injured list.
