Kirk Cousins Named Raiders Starting Quarterback for Training Camp

Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak has officially named veteran Kirk Cousins as the starting quarterback to open training camp. The team is prioritizing Cousins' experience over rookie Fernando Mendoza and Aidan O'Connell as they establish their offensive identity for the 2026 season. Cousins is set to lead the team's preparations as they begin their first season under the new coaching staff, with the team opting for veteran stability over immediate rookie integration.
