Cubs Designate Jameson Taillon for Assignment

The Chicago Cubs have designated Jameson Taillon for assignment following a challenging season. In 15 starts, Taillon posted a 2-6 record with a career-worst 5.92 ERA. He has struggled significantly with command, allowing 25 home runs on 76 hits, the highest total in the National League this season. The move reflects the team's decision to move in a different direction given his recent performance metrics.
