Jhoan Duran Blows Ninth-Inning Lead in Loss to Marlins

Phillies closer Jhoan Duran (1-4) took the loss and blew a save in Monday's 8-7 defeat to the Marlins. Duran allowed three runs on five hits in just one-third of an inning, failing to secure the lead against a Miami team that entered the game on a 12-game losing streak. Despite a late offensive rally by Philadelphia, Duran's inability to close the game proved costly in the tight contest.
