Filip Bystedt Faces Increased Competition in Sharks' Depth Chart

Drafted 27th overall in 2022, Filip Bystedt was initially viewed as a primary building block for the San Jose Sharks. However, the rapid emergence of high-end prospects like Will Smith and Macklin Celebrini has shifted his standing within the organization. While Bystedt remains a part of the Sharks' future, he now faces a more crowded depth chart, necessitating continued growth to secure a long-term role as the team's roster continues to evolve through recent draft acquisitions.
