Alec Pierce Placed on PUP List Following Ankle Surgery

The Indianapolis Colts have placed wide receiver Alec Pierce on the active/physically unable to perform (PUP) list due to an ankle injury requiring surgery. While he will not be ready for the start of training camp, the team is monitoring his recovery closely with a goal of returning by Week 1. Despite the setback, there is no cause for panic regarding the status of the deep-threat receiver as he works toward full participation.
