Zac Thornton Earns Second Straight Win in Mets' 14-3 Victory

Rookie Zac Thornton earned his second consecutive win, allowing three earned runs over 6.1 innings in a 14-3 victory over the Braves. This marks his fourth straight start of at least six innings. Manager Andy Green praised Thornton's "good stuff" despite external concerns about potential regression. While his scoreless streak has ended, Thornton continues to show resolve and maintain multiple impressive performance streaks for the Mets.
