Patriots Sign Rookie Gabe Jacas; Knee Recovery Status Uncertain

The Patriots signed second-round rookie linebacker Gabe Jacas over the weekend. While head coach Mike Vrabel does not anticipate Jacas missing the entire season, his availability remains uncertain due to ongoing knee recovery. As the team progresses through training camp, Jacas is currently viewed as having ground to make up in his development, making his status a key question mark for the Patriots' defensive depth heading into the 2026 season.
