Matt Chapman Without Return Date From Abdominal Injury

Manager Tony Vitello announced Sunday that Matt Chapman (abdomen) remains without a target date for his return from the 10-day injured list. The veteran third baseman is not expected to be activated before the Giants' current homestand concludes this Wednesday. The team continues to monitor his progress as he works toward recovery.
