James Wood Powers Nationals to Shootout Win with Multi-Homer Game

James Wood fueled the Washington Nationals' 10-7 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, recording his first multi-homer game of the 2026 season. Wood went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI, and a walk. The win was a total team effort as the Nationals successfully held off the Diamondbacks despite late-game pressure from the bullpen, with Wood's offensive production serving as a critical component in securing the high-scoring win.
