Nolan McLean Takes Loss Despite Solid Six-Inning Start

Nolan McLean (7-7) was handed the loss in Saturday's 4-3 defeat to the Dodgers, allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings. While McLean delivered a solid outing, his performance was undermined by defensive lapses in the third inning that voided the team's comeback efforts. McLean continues to serve as a key member of the Mets' rotation plans.
