Nick Kurtz Reinstated from Injured List

The Athletics officially reinstated slugger Nick Kurtz from the 10-day injured list on Saturday. Kurtz, who had been sidelined with a thumb injury, was immediately slotted into the lineup as the designated hitter, batting second for the team's game against Minnesota. The move provides the Athletics with additional offensive depth as they continue their season schedule.
