Phillies Acquire Kameron Misner from Royals

The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired outfielder Kameron Misner in a trade with the Kansas City Royals. While currently characterized as a minor transaction, the move provides the Phillies with additional left-handed outfield depth following Misner's productive stretch at Triple-A. Observers are monitoring the deal to see if it serves as a prelude to further roster activity for either organization as the trade deadline approaches.
