Max Fried Dominates with Seven Strikeouts in Scoreless Yankees Debut

Max Fried delivered a dominant performance in his return to the mound, pitching five scoreless innings for the New York Yankees in a doubleheader against the Pirates. Fried allowed only one hit and one walk while striking out seven batters, though he did not earn a decision in the split. His sharp debut in the Yankees' rotation is a vital development for the team as they look to maintain their pitching momentum while captain Aaron Judge remains sidelined with an ongoing injury concern.
