Brett Baty Takes Responsibility for Costly Outfield Misplay

Brett Baty shouldered the blame for a defensive misplay in right field during Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Brewers. Baty took an indirect route to a fly ball hit by Joey Ortiz, an error that led to three runs and increased Christian Scott's pitch count. Baty acknowledged the mistake, stating, 'Three runs are on me right there.'
