Samuel Basallo Placed on 10-Day Injured List

The Orioles placed Samuel Basallo on the 10-day injured list Wednesday due to right shoulder inflammation. Basallo was initially sidelined for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Red Sox before the official designation was announced. The move confirms the severity of the shoulder injury that kept him out of the lineup earlier in the day.
