Max Muncy Hits 229th Career Home Run, Passing Ron Cey

Max Muncy continues to make franchise history, hitting his 229th home run as a Dodger in Wednesday's 9-5 win over the Phillies. The go-ahead two-run shot moved him past Ron Cey on the team's all-time list. Muncy, who also homered in Tuesday's 2-1 victory, has been a pivotal offensive force, serving as the hero in two of the Dodgers' last five games. He effectively broke two ties with his swing on Wednesday night, cementing his status as a key contributor to the Dodgers' recent success.
