Joshua Kuroda-Grauer Placed on 10-Day IL After Emergency Surgery

Athletics rookie Joshua Kuroda-Grauer has been placed on the 10-day injured list following emergency surgery for a ruptured testicle. The injury occurred after he was struck by a foul ball tip during Monday's game. Remarkably, he finished his at-bat and recorded a hit before the severity of the injury was addressed. The team has not yet provided a specific recovery timeline for the infielder following the procedure, which was confirmed on Tuesday.
