Zack Wheeler Dominates Despite Rain-Shortened Loss

Zack Wheeler remains in elite form for the 2026 season despite a 2-1 loss to the Dodgers. Wheeler allowed a home run to Max Muncy in a game played through rain at Citizens Bank Park. This marked his second loss of the year, both against the Dodgers, as the Phillies' offense struggled to provide support. Statistical analysis continues to highlight Wheeler's dominance, with the Phillies ace building a compelling case for the National League Cy Young Award and a future Hall of Fame induction.
