Nolan Arenado Joins Elite Club with 2,000th Career Hit

Nolan Arenado reached a major career milestone on Monday night, becoming the sixth active player to record 2,000 career hits. The Diamondbacks third baseman achieved the feat by smacking a double to left field against the Athletics. Despite the individual accomplishment, the Diamondbacks fell to the Athletics. Arenado, an eight-time All-Star, remains a central figure in the Arizona lineup.
