Carson Benge Benched Following Luis Robert's Return

Carson Benge was held out of the starting lineup for the New York Mets' Monday game against the Milwaukee Brewers. While initially described as a rare breather for the rookie, his absence is part of a broader shift in the team's outfield rotation following the activation of Luis Robert from the 60-day injured list. Benge remains a key part of the Mets' high-performing rookie group, but the team is currently navigating a crowded outfield mix.
